125 full-page activities for CKLA-aligned Grade 1 Skills Unit 6, Lessons 1–25: five pages for each lesson, one activity per page. Unit 6 moves first graders into new spellings for familiar sounds, and these pages follow it lesson by lesson: soft c (Lesson 1) and ce (4), soft g (8), kn and doubled n and m (10–11), wh (16) and nk (18), plus the tricky words could and their (12) and cow (23).

Every page is written to its lesson. Student-read words are checked against the sounds taught so far, so a child never meets a spelling that has not been taught yet. The stories are original, and every story question asks the child to choose or write, and to name the sentence that proves the answer: nothing is filled in ahead of time.

How the pages work: word-work pages show exactly one gray worked example, and place-or-write pages let children put a card in a box or simply write the word. No cutting is ever required, and every write-in box is sized for first-grade handwriting. Page types change from page to page: word hunts, sorts, pronoun and noun pages, add-an-ending and plural pages, tricky-word path puzzles and bingo, spelling words and assessments, planning and drafting a personal narrative or a description, roll-and-read, fluency rows and short stories with questions.
