Fundations Level 3 Unit 1 Week 1 Literacy Center Kit

A week of literacy centers for Fundations® Level 3, Unit 1, Week 1: 6 independent centers for small-group and literacy rotations, built on that week's lessons (Unit 1, Days 1–5: closed syllables (sand-box, muf-fin); tch; /k/ at the end: ck, k, or c; trick words have, should).

The 6 centers: Roll & Read, Syllable Building, Sort It, Read & Match, Frog Hop and Sentence Builder. Every activity is two-sided: side 2 is more practice with new words. Each center comes with its own cut-out pieces (cards, tiles or a paper die), a game board or picture cards, and recording sheets.

For the teacher: a teacher overview, 6 half-page center cards with “I can” picture steps, and a 4-page answer key. Every word a child reads is decodable by the end of Week 1 (or is a trick word taught by then).

Print and go: 40 pages in one PDF. Print two-sided, cut the cards, and set up the six centers for the week.
