HOW IT FITS YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
Use the cards during your oral lesson: model, then let the class answer together while they look at the pictures. Later, children practice the same skills on their own with the picture pages. An adult reads the short directions aloud; children say each picture's name to themselves and circle, cross out or color. Children never write a sound.

AN HONEST NOTE
The practice pages cover the phonemic awareness skills that work on paper. Blending sounds you say aloud and changing single sounds need a voice, so those happen with the cards in your oral lesson.
