Illustrative Math (IM®) Aligned 1st Grade Unit 1 Practice Packet (Color & B&W)

For teachers using Illustrative Mathematics® (IM®) K–5 Math.

A practice packet for 1st grade math Unit 1, “Adding, Subtracting, and Working with Data”: 20 pages of independent practice for all 12 of the unit's lessons, one activity per page, in lesson order. Each page is tagged “Use after Lesson N” with its IM® v.360 lesson number (Lessons 1–15), so you know exactly when to hand it out.

The pages practice counting on, adding and taking away with picture stories, switching the order to add, sorting and counting, picture graphs, tally marks, and questions about data.

On 20 of the 20 pages the first problem is done for you in gray as a model. Directions are short and built for early readers, and nothing has to be cut out or glued.

Two editions in every download: Color, and Printer-Friendly in black and white. Each edition comes with its own full-size answer key.

Use the pages for independent practice, homework, small groups, intervention, or review before the unit test.

This packet is separate from our Unit 1 lesson slides, practice pages and homework (the Unit 1 Bundle). Its problems are written new, so it adds practice instead of repeating those pages.
