Illustrative Math (IM®) Aligned 5th Grade Unit 3 Practice Packet (Color & B&W)

For teachers using Illustrative Mathematics® (IM®) K–5 Math.

A practice packet for 5th grade math Unit 3, “Multiplying and Dividing Fractions”: 20 pages of independent practice for all 20 of the unit's lessons, one activity per page, in lesson order. Each page is tagged “Use after Lesson N” with its IM® v.360 lesson number (Lessons 1–20), so you know exactly when to hand it out.

The pages practice multiplying fractions and mixed numbers with area models, dividing with unit fractions and tape diagrams, and recipe stories.

On 17 of the 20 pages the first problem is done for you in gray as a model. Directions are short.

Two editions in every download: Color, and Printer-Friendly in black and white. Each edition comes with its own full-size answer key.

Use the pages for independent practice, homework, small groups, intervention, or review before the unit test.

This packet is separate from our Unit 3 lesson slides, practice pages and homework (the Unit 3 Bundle). Its problems are written new, so it adds practice instead of repeating those pages.
