CKLA-Aligned Grade 2 Skills Full-Year Bundle (Units 1–6)

The whole year of CKLA-aligned Grade 2 Skills practice in one bundle: all six units, 154 lessons and 400 full-page activities, written to fill the page with real second-grade work: 8 to 12 items on most pages, picture sorts, word-bank sorts, finish-the-sentence pages, put-the-words-in-order pages and stories with three-choice questions plus answers written in sentences. Units 1–6 run from a review of the basic code through magic e and vowel teams, long vowel spellings, er/ir/ur, schwa and word endings, to ph, ea, adverbs and sentence work built on The War of 1812, and each unit's pages follow its lessons.

How the pages work: word-work pages show exactly one gray worked example, and place-or-write pages let children put a card in a box or simply write the word. No cutting is ever required, every write-in line is sized for a child's handwriting, and every page can be done by a child working alone. Fluency rows ask the child to cross out the one nonsense word in each row, and every story question asks the child to choose or write: nothing is filled in ahead of time. Nearly every word a child reads is decodable through the unit it is in, or is a tricky word taught by then; each spelling-change rule has its own page and is never mixed with another.

Every unit comes with the same formats: Color and Printer-Friendly editions (black-and-white pictures, identical text), a separate Answer Key, and separate Teacher Pages with the spelling assessments and dictation, so the student pages need no teacher. All content is original. It follows the scope of the Core Knowledge Foundation's free first-edition Grade 2 Skills sequence, Units 1–6. It is not tied to any other edition of the program, and none of its text is copied.
